Statera

Statera is a lightweight platform for managing service configuration and runtime state across environments. It keeps your settings in one versioned source of truth and rolls them out to running services without a redeploy.

New here?

Start with the Getting started guide — it takes about ten minutes to get a first service reporting in.

Why Statera

  • One source of truth. Configuration lives in a declarative file, reviewed through your normal pull-request flow.
  • Live rollout. Changes propagate to running instances in seconds; no restart required for most keys.
  • Environment overlays. Share a base config and override only what differs in staging, canary or production.
  • Audit trail. Every change is attributed, timestamped and reversible.

At a glance

# statera.yaml
service: billing-api
environment: production

settings:
  log_level: info
  rate_limit: 240
  feature_flags:
    new_invoicing: true
    legacy_export: false

Apply it:

statera apply statera.yaml

Statera validates the file against the service schema, computes the diff against the live state and rolls the change out gradually.
